  • The event will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Gona's Reading Ranch in Meridian, Idaho, about 10 minutes from Settler’s Park. Exact address provided after RSVPing.

  • Tickets are $10 per person. Children 3 and under are free. There will be a pre-pay option in the confirmation email you receive after RSVPing, or you can pay upon arrival.

  • Only your favorite BSU outfit of course!

    Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED for safety reasons. Comfortable casual clothing is recommended. Some activities may involve crafts and outdoor exploration, so please dress accordingly.

  • Water and light snacks will be available for purchase.

  • The event will run approximately 2 hours. You're welcome to stay for the entire time or come and go as works best for your family.

  • The event will be held rain or shine. Many activities will take place inside our barn, and we'll adjust outdoor activities as needed.

  • For the safety of our farm animals and all guests, please leave your pets at home.

  • The main barn and many activity areas are accessible. Some parts of the ranch have natural terrain that may be more challenging. Please contact us with specific accessibility questions.

  • Yes! Gona's award-winning children's books will be available for purchase, and Gona will be happy to sign them.

  • Absolutely! We encourage you to capture these magical moments with your family. Please be respectful of other guests when taking photos.

  • Yes, free parking is available at the ranch. A map will be provided in the confirmation email you receive after RSVPing.

  • We take safety seriously at Gona's Reading Ranch. First aid supplies and trained personnel are available on-site throughout the event.

  • Gona's Reading Ranch is both an equestrian facility and a private residence. For your safety and privacy reasons, we ask that all guests remain in the clearly marked event areas only. There may be horses and farm equipment in restricted areas that could pose safety hazards.

  • Yes, Gona's Reading Ranch is a private residence. We're opening our home to share the magic of the ranch with you. Please respect the private areas of the property and follow all posted signs and staff directions.
